Installation Prerequisites
Before initiating the Augnito Spectra Desktop Widget installation, ensure the following considerations are addressed. Please note that Administrator rights are necessary for both installation and uninstallation of Augnito.
- Close All Open Applications: Before proceeding, ensure that all open applications are closed to prevent any potential conflicts during installation.
- Firewall Disable: Temporarily disable the firewall during the installation process. It is crucial to re-enable the firewall after the installation is complete.
- Allow Antivirus to Install: Disable or turn off antivirus software temporarily. Occasionally, the installation process may trigger a false virus report. Remember to re-enable the antivirus protection once the installation is finished.
- Check Audio Enhancement Feature: To optimize audio settings –
- Navigate to the “Sound” settings.
- In the “Recording” tab, locate the active microphone.
- Right-click on the microphone, choose “Properties.”
- In the “Advanced” tab, find “Enable audio enhancement” and uncheck it.
- Click “OK” or “Apply” to save changes.
Install Supporting Softwares
Install All 4 Supporting .Net and C++ 2013 and 2017 and Visual Studio. These requirements will be presented before the final installation, allowing you to address them before completing the software installation.
Installation Directory
The default installation directory for Augnito is C:\Program Files\Scribetech Healthcare\Augnito. However, during the installation process, you have the option to choose a different directory or drive on your machine. Note that selecting a different directory only affects the location of the Augnito program files.
