Vocabulary
The Vocabulary setting is used to add new vocabulary options. This will help to train your system for better dictation output. While Augnito does maintain a comprehensive medical vocabulary with 99% dictation accuracy, there may be times when Augnito is unable to capture certain words such as proper nouns, new generic brand drug names, or certain abbreviations. With our Personalization feature, you are now able to train Augnito to recognize and save these words to your profile in less than a minute.
You can fill in details like the spelling and pronunciation, as well as record an audio version of the term to train your system to recognize it better. This is where you add new words, drug names, and proper nouns to Augnito.
Add New Vocabulary
- Click on the Hamburger Menu and then on Tools. From the options available to the right click on Vocabulary.
- On the top right corner click on “Add Vocabulary” to start adding new vocabularies
- Select ‘Add Word’ under the Vocabulary settings to add a new word to your vocabulary
– Written Form: Type out the word
– Pronunciation: Optional phonetic pronunciation
– Record Audio: Select and hold the record audio button to dictate the word
– Submit: Hit submit to train Augnito to recognize the new word
- You will get a pop-up once the word has been added to your vocabulary. Simply restart your mic and dictate freely.
